TracyLocke Social Posts
We Voted
In preparation for Election Day, TracyLocke gave all employees the opportunity to take the day off from work and go out and vote. This illustration was not only apart of a social post but a collection of printed stickers and pins that, like the iconic “I Voted” stickers found at the polls, employees could wear after they voted.
Father’s Day
There are different types of Dads in this world. The Dads that grill the best burgers, ones that teach you how to ride a bike without training wheels, and the fathers that tell the funniest (?) jokes. No matter what type of Dad you have,
there’s a special hero in all of them.
Mother’s Day
Mothers guide us through life and shape us into
who we are today. They nurture us and help us grow.
This social post was to illustrate these traits and
to celebrate all of the mothers out there.
International Women’s Day
The quote, “There is no limit to what we, as women,
can accomplish”, spoken by Michelle Obama, is
very encouraging and motivates me to be a more confident and hardworking woman.
Black History Month
Nina Simone, such a unique and strong individual, is one of the greats of jazz and R&B music. Her soulful songs have influenced so many artists in the past and still today. Her music was her way of expressing her own truths and feelings about race and equality. I wanted to use watercolor as my medium in order to mimic the smoothness of her voice. I used deep blues and purples to emulate the soul and depth of her lyrics. If you’ve
never heard her music it’s a must listen.
National Connecticut Day
TracyLocke has a bunch of offices around the country,
but the one that is special to me is the office right in Wilton, Connecticut. Some of my favorite things about
CT are its breweries, Fall foliage, famous pizza spots,
and most of all, the beach!
